WHOA DUDE.

It totally fits my mood of Starcraft 2!
Only thing that needs to be changed - ground. I really think it's too much offtopic in this context.

But hey, nice horizont, and all! D:

Nice one, Timmy. It certainly has flair.
What I would do to improve this bg that already has a lot of potential: make the island float up and down (okay, it sounds stupid, but it will look good though)

Go Go background makers :D

very good bg. the only thing bothering me is what simon pointed. the ground looks like a bunch of clowds. thumbs up!

I downloaded it and tested it. Looks even better in game and I don't think the ground is too much of an issue as the name of the bg suggests, it's sky city.

love the clouds further back as well. The floating of the island is slightly juddering though. Other than that, great use of bg DC techniques, good concept with animations and nice depth to boot! So once again, well done

I overworked a lot of stuff on the bg:
- added new transparent glass-platform-ground
- added two new city layers to give it more depth
- added animation of flying car
- overworked flying island

don't give comments or critism if u haven't tried it out.
It looks like totally different in game because of the parallax scrolling and animations.

tested it.

- The flying vehicle was a nice addition
- The floating island seems (note, it's seems because I'm judging from memory) to judder less

on the other hand, I'm not sure whether the glass fighting area is a good idea. Firstly, there's the perspective issue... I don't know whether you know what I mean, but imagine looking at the surface of a wooden table with uniform horizontal patterns near eye-level and you would notice that the patterns nearer to you appear bigger and the ones further back appear thinner.

Secondly, it doesn't look very glassy. I know glass in real life is transparent, but it's not really the case in cartoons and games. Right now it feels like I'm either walking in mid-air or standing on wires.

finally, I feel that the newly added layer of buildings is a bit too much.

Hope this feedback helps. If I can choose, I will definitely choose the old version over this one.
