D&D Sheet tutorial
#1
OK, this is for those who don't have their character sheets ready yet.
Keep in mind we are playing core D&D, so don't go fancy with other classes/races/whatever.

www.pathguy.com/cg35.htm

After the page loads, scroll down to this:
http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/9062/pathguy1xa8.png

Please, pay attention to the image. It's point buy and 32 points to spend. Keep that in mind.
Don't forget to put your race ( http://www.d20srd.org/srd/races.htm ).

When you get done with that, scroll down here:
http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/8583/pathguy2hy7.png
Here's a list of all alignments and their descriptions: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/description.htm#alignment
Don't forget total levels is 3.

Next, you have to pick your class. Just click on what class you chose at level 1, the other 2 levels will be filled automatically.
http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/2572/pathguy3di6.png
Click on "Accept classes" below.

**********Rangers only**********
You can choose between Archery or Two-weapon fighting.

**********Wizards only**********
You have to select what familiar you have ( http://www.d20srd.org/srd/classes/sorcer...#familiars ) and what school of magic you want and which 2 you prohibit ( http://www.d20srd.org/srd/classes/sorcer...ialization ).

Scroll down, and click on "Move On". You'll come across a skill list. Each class has a determined number of skill points that can be increased with higher intelligence scores. Each class has "class skills". That means that when you are getting ranks on that skill, you don't pay more than 1 point per 1 increase. Cross-class skills is double the cost. No matter what skill you put points in though, the max you can put is your total level + 3. Once that's done, scroll down and click on "Accept these skills."

You will come across feat selection. You can check the list of core feats here: http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/feats.htm
Check their descriptions to make better choices. Once you get done with that, you gotta scroll all the way down to "Accept these feats".

You'll come across equipment section. Each class has their own proficiencies. Check them here: http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/classes.htm
Click on your class to find out what its proficiencies are. I'd say stick to 1 or 2 weapons at most. Once you select equipment and additional languages (if any), fill your character's Height, Weight, Skin Color, Eyes, Hair Color, Hair Type, Beard (for males), his name, put your forum name on "player name", any possible comments (like backstory, for example) and generate the page. Once generated, select it all, save on word and e-mail me.

Here's a general guideline for classes and what stats:
Fighters/Barbarians: STR/DEX/CON.
Paladins: STR/CON/CHA.
Bards/Sorcerers: CHA.
Wizards: INT.
Clerics/Druids: WIS.
Monks: WIS/DEX/STR/CON.
Rangers: DEX/WIS/CON/STR (More DEX if you're going archer, more STR if two-weapon).
Rogues: STR/DEX/CON.

You'll have to wait for my char for sometime, sorry but I'll have to get a CD from my dads office
If at first you don't succeed, you're probably not going skydiving again.

Here's mine. Slightly edited in Photoshop for a nicer hair color.

lol that's what I did first. But all you see is "Send *username* an email." Doesn't say the address, even if you click it.

Right, therefore i asked...
Forum systems normally send the E-Mails over a software to hold the E-Mail-adress hidden...

But attaching a txt too a post would work, but also, it would screw up the tables and spaces and so on...
