Appy's/Hellblazer's lf artworks
#1
Hello, in this thread ill be posting my lf artworks like many other people do of course. :p
I dont have many things to show here, just created a facepic now, i have some sprites i made which are cool, but sadly i cant show them until the project is complete which they were made for. Don't worry, ill be updating this soon. Dont expect too much from me though, for now. Also, the reason i made this thread was to post things i make
to get recommendations from others and improve my skills, also mainly to boost my morale to perform better. I hope you understand. :)
I hope you enjoy whatever i make. (though you are gonna not i know) :p

Alright, i made a facepic of just something a named Banquet, a thief. It is just a recolour for now, but i will do update him later. :D

Some recommendations would be damn useful. Also, i keep trying to add folds on clothes and skins but idk why i dont get it right :/ sometimes due to colour and sometimes due to design...

Shouldn't you use Hue/Saturation for that?

or there's a reason for you're not using that?

that might give a better outcome
but the way he originally edited the face pic will actually get his painting skills improved

so its a short run benefit (hue shift-outcome) vs long run benefit (painting-skill)
which one will you go for? i would go with the long run

I'll go with the long run too.
Though I can re-color exactly like this with Hue/Saturation.

first of all thanks for your replies, deep and ariel. ill go with the long run too btw, as i wanna impove my skills as im not good. really i would feel that i made it good and it was a true spite if it was long and painful and the outcome comes out to be awesome! but short does the work quickly on the other hand.
also, i will be uploading a standing pic of him, i just arrived from school though, im making it! :D

so do you guys have any tips on how to get the folds and shadows in the clothes and skin look good using long run method?(if it aint possible using long run, so tell me some editing way?)

thx

well i don't think it is a revamp
its rather an edit

revamping here is understood more like creating a new sprite from 0 not editing existing one
