One arm is way higher than the other one and his left hand and upper arm look tiny and I think it's moving a little bit too much. That might be what is causing it to look a bit strange

Welcome back Ariel! I like the green background best.
It's cool! The only thing I'd change are the eyes, a bit more neutral would be better I think

edit: another thing I noticed is that the shoulders aren't symetrical. I think the problem is that there is quite some diffirence between the two sides of the upper trapezius muscle:

It is as if the muscle I described is a tad bigger on one side than on the other side. Could be very easily fixed with smudge tool or something. I don't have time for it now though, but I'll get back at it soon if you want :)

Man, I didn't notice the lines you painted in the bigger picture >< The only diffirence in my edit is that I made the insertion of his trapezis muscle a tiny little bit further towards his shoulder and I fixed something minor on the other side (barely worth the edit). And as a bonus, I screwed up the shading like I always do :p My edit is in no way better looking than the original, especially since I made the muscle too bulky :p I still hope you get the idea...
You can either edit your own sprite to get the muscle to attach a few pixels further toward the shoulder or keep it like this. It's no big deal anyway I think.
