This is an inspiration from:
-YinYin's Character Development guide, to be more specific i took one of those bases.
-Urban Rivals' clan Skeelz, I took their uniform
I hope it's good. ^^

Even pretty for a start.

Looks like you used MSpaint for those. Try Gimp, Photofiltre or Photoshop.

I can't see any shading, so you could first read some tutorials in TUTORIAL SECTION.

For example those two:

http://www.lf-empire.de/forum/showthread.php?tid=4959

Moore and moore potential spriters are comming it. Hell yeah. Look like LFE's Sprite Zone is gonna live again.

First of all - use Brush Tool instead of Pencil, to make your sprites look less 'sharp'.
Notice, that original LF2 sprites are using a little of anti-aliasing.

If you zoom in, you can see that your sprite doesn't fade to the bg as clear as original LF2 sprites do.

Looks like you used the blur tool which is a big n0-n0.

Ok.
1. Sprites are way toooo blured. Don't use fuzzy brushes, nor blur tool.
2. Make higher contrast between light and dark color.

godamn i hate macedonians D:

I mean, WELCOME TO THE FORUMS! Nice start, but you should seriously read some tutorials. I would personally suggest PF's tutorial. The second one that Gad posted.

Just try doing it step by step. And you should get a great sprite. Oh and also don't be afraid to use a darker colour when shading. ;)
