Oh, I miss playing that game.
I think, en passant is my favourite rule in the entire game.
Especially because most people don't know about it.
Age ratings for movies and games (and similar) have never been a good idea.
One can learn a lot from reinventing wheels.
An unsound argument is not the same as an invalid one.
volatile in C++ does not mean thread-safe.
Do not make APIs unnecessarily asynchronous.
Make C++ operator > again

I didn't know about it till I googled it :(
that move is like partish checkers right? expect for jumping over diagonally you pass them diagonally?

Nearly everyone I ask who knows the basic rules of chess.
That one just isn't as common.
Ask a random stranger, how a random piece moves in chess, and he/she will most likely be able to answer correctly.
Ask a random stranger, what en passant is in chess, and he/she probably won't know it.
