Computer "Port" Question
#1
So, I'm thinking of buying a new monitor, and the one I'm looking at supposedly features "Audio Connectivity: (via) Audio In and Out 2.0".

I'm pretty sure this means that the computer supports something like 2-channel stereo sound only.

However, while looking through some pictures, I came across this port:

Since I don't know what the port "Audio In and Out 2.0" means, and I can't find any 3.5mm jacks...

Can anyone tell me what this port it is?

Thanks in Advance,

Does that look like a USB B Port?
I'm not sure. I think it's too small to be one of those...

@Phil: it is indeed. My external HDD has one of those. See following: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB#Connector_types

@1477: Soooo.... is this solved?

Yep, that was indeed what I was inquiring about :D . I was trying to figure out whether this little mysterious port would be able to carry audio :D. Thanks for the help, guys!

The problem is though.... now I'm not sure whether the monitor will support audio anymore.. oh well.

I must say, it's really nice to get help on LFE again, even if it's for a small thing :D .

Problem Solved :D .
