[Tutorial] How to use a a base PROPERLY
#1
im not sure a lot of people know how to use a base properly, so i have written this tut, in the hope that the quality/originality of sprites posted will pick up.
special thanks to Blue phoenix, for using his tut and adapting it.
sorry, its a bit too wordy, so sorry to all those read-a-phobics in the forum.
intended for Photoshop users

btw, i dont actually use this method myself, because i know the lf2 proportions pretty well, so usually skip ahead the the skin part, and as a result, usually have chars that are a bit taller then normal lf2 chars, but oh well.
(and sorry for the terrible sprite at the end...)

additional: the face takes several attempts to get right, so keep trying (not even i can get the face right on first go, same with hair)

the key is patience.

i use photoshop 7 (i know, its SOOOO old, but its pretty much the same...nearly)
but you can do that in any program, (including other versions of photoshop)
i dont like to use this method often unless i want spot-on LF2 preportions
