As I can see, you've started to use the opacity-feature in your graphics program...
Unfortunately, LF2 doesn't support semi-transparency, so the supposed to be semi-transparent parts in each sprite will just look very dark.
Overlaying might look cool as a standalone picture but in the long-term, it just doesn't look right.

@ BP: fool ! I used a pattern. I started to use the op.-feature years ago!
Could it be, that you don't realy know the general spirte-stuff?

@ MH: Well, yeah. You're right, but I found out a godly trick how to making new chars now.
Freeze and Firen were a problem, because the freeze-sprites are more on the right. so it overlayerd.
The "heavy armor-walkin"-pics are, what I mean with this trick! You don't need to cut of bodyparts anymore!^^

You accuse me of not knowing the basics in spriting? ME?! Excuse me...
*5min extreme rofl-ing*

I don't see any pattern-thingy, there is just a 50% Freeze put on a Firen-sprite. That's what I see. And I seriously doubt that LF2 will see any semi-transparency either. The idea is not sooo bad if you want a ghostly effect, but in game it's totally unusable. Period.

You edited your post right when I wanted to reply. You made me think about a different way of approaching that topic! Evil

It can be advanced... if you use MSPaint :)
If you've PS or any other layer-supporting prog and you call that advanced, then I'd say that you definately need some more skillz :p

You should use this transparency effect:

btw. I made this picture above 100% with MSPaint...
Oh and if you use Photoshop (not gimp, gimp is sh*t :D) you must first make the background transparent with the eraser tool. If you make it like this, firen isn't black in the game

hey thx dude. It's a begining, but freeze must be transparency, too. I want to have a 50% firen-50% freeze char as a result.

Where to download mspaint?
