Don't click every link you see, it might just end up being a javascript exploit or a shock site or something. I'd suggest only clicking links if it makes sense and you can kinda trust the person. If "staff" or whatever we're called these days notices some sort of malicious link in some post we're definitely going to get rid of it, but it's not like we're patrolling the forum 24/7, so we might not be fast enough

It's Internet 101 really, but just pointing that out since we had this guy show up, posting a link to a malicious website that apparently at least one person ended up clicking. Don't go absolutely paranoid though.

If you want to surf "safely" -> use a sandbox.
