LF2_v2.0 System Requirements
#11
Well, the speed on LF2_v2.0 is ridiculously slow compared to 1.9c. I don't know the exact fps but it's around 7 fps (I can actually make out the details of each character in each frame position). My computer isn't that cluttered (it has like 7 gb left on backup drive and 600 mb left on local main disk). But then it might just be old? Again, it's not lagging so the graphics card is ok (I don't know the exact speed).

My computer is a Dell Dimensions 4600 (pre-maid computer), and it's around 4 years old (my parents bought it when it came out). Do you guys think that LF2_v2.0 is lagging because of its age?

Well , I have a HP comp. I don't really know the model but my parents bought it for me and it's only about 6 months old. Brand new in it's models. It's hard disk has 120 GB in it and other functions ( parts ) are also the newest peices cause it was a whole set that had following things :

Moniter , CPU , Keyboard , laser mouse , controller , joy stick , motherboard , 3D - card , and other things like that.

Maybe it is your comps age but my dad has a Apple company laptop that's about 6 years old and I tried playing LF2.ver.2.0 on it and it worked perfectly. Just to let u know , Dell over here in New-Zealand is a company that get's alot complaints cause some models of it sucks. I'll see the news tonight and when the electronic parts comes I'll informe hopefully tomorrow. ;)

My comp, a dell dimension 8400, is about to turn 4 pretty soon, and lf2 is working fine. I don't think that it has to do anything with the free disk space (well, I have enough, at the moment around 270gigs), otherwise my laptop would run extremely slow (which is extremely cluttered and there is almost no free disk space).

One with the slowest comp around here is DON aka. Ramond aka. Sandbag, and he doesn't have any lag either. It's really a strange prob. If you have the chance, try out Silva's idea, otherwise, there is still the option of the complete wipe-out of your hard drive (not that I'd recommend it, but I was taking it into consideration....)

...
I have 768 MB RAM and a 2Ghz processor.
LF2 2.0 works just fine, full speed, if there's not too much stuff running in the background.

@BP: No, my PC may be slow, but it s for sure one of the OLDEST PCs in world that are still used. (8 years and a 3/4)

Dell Dimension 8400? Isn't that the model that came right after 4600? It still uses DDR1 type RAM cards right? And it has 120GB of space? I replaced the old HDD on my desktop (Dell Dimension 4600) with a 320 GB HDD and it only read 23 GB of it (that's why I only have 500 MB of ROM Hard Drive Space left). Fry's Electronics said that the reason the computer read out so little of the HDD was because of it's age. Something about the motherboard being too old. Plus I never turned on the recording function, I haven't even used it before because I don't know how to turn it into video format (I don't think it can, actually). By the way, the hard disk is fully compatible with my type of computer (the slot fits in and everything), and the computer says that the Hard Disk is supposedly fully functional with no viruses, problems or anything. My virus scanners (McAffee and Norton Antivirus) says my HDD has no viral or software problems. So in this case (since the computer is so old the motherboard can't even read out a fully compatible Hard Drive's total memory), you guys think it's because of the age?
