Alright, I finally got up my butt to write a tutorial dealing with face pictures. Pretty self-explanatory, I think. Enjoy :)

yea, it's intended to be for PS. You might be able to do it with different programs, but I intentionally made it with/for PS.

Great... but not lf2-style. Lf2 faces outline is not so clear, it's more thicky in some places, becouse Martiw was using (probably) flash for this. Flash makes lines more random... Your shading is too poor, there should be bigger gamma of colours! And I don't like this face becouse you didn't draw good face... It's a bit... weird? And don't make so thick lineart on eyes.

Few days ago I made faces in Gimp and I think they are better then yours. Sorry for that... But...

IMO
Circular hexagon with weird eyes =/= face!

Haha! I was just waiting for this xD!

Hey, I never said that this is the best way of making LF2-faces. There's simply no tutorial out there dealing with that topic. I definitely know that these faces are far away from being lf2-ish. I could continue here for the next few years but that'd be just lame. Ofc, you're more than welcome to make a write-up, too. I'm waiting for one ;)

rebound!
i actually love this tutorial, its very useful, and i absolutely love the hair technique!
@Gad, the one one the left has a puffy cheek,, and wierd shading on nose, AND they are not lf2-style (buuuurrrrn)
(god i hate it when people keep bringing up lf2-style...)
this is a remake of the julian face
its not that great, but i am very pleased with it

and he did say "lf2-like" but everyone has their own style, and style of drawing is something you shouldn't criticise
