Demon's road[Released!] - InPhiKnight - 07-07-2013

This background is the royal road of Julian. It has lf2's biggest fighting area in the history(10006x130). There is some parallax scrolling in this background. This background is for those who like to run during fights.


Updates:
Added a bigger black linest bottom.[fixed]
Made the shadow darker.
Added texture to the foreground.

Same with your other bg; add the black border! Otherwise, it's quite okay.

I added a black border in this bg after seeing your post in my previous bg thead. Just look at the bigger image, there is a black border at the bottom. ;)

Nope. Correction: RN-LF2 has a 9600 width bg for Great Wall. :P

Also before you create another thread in this section (why do I have feeling it'll happen tomorrow?) I'd stronly sugest you to try do something own instead using ripped sprites. Seriously, I've never understood what people see in these backgrounds. Anyone can do it.
Try to use elements of existing LF2 backgrounds, if you can't draw from scratch.

I like to make ripped backgrounds to lf2 backgrounds but since you asked for it my next bg will me done by me ;)

Pretty ironic you download it from the internet and don't know where you downloaded it from.
I brown space on the bottom feels empty, adding a few sprites and textures here and there won't be bad.

I decided to take a look at it. REVIEW-TIEM!

The reason why black bars are necessary:

Otherwise, it looks quite awful.
If you're too lazy to edit the images, create a black rectangle (or directly do it via rect) and align it properly on top of the existing bg.


Shadow could be stronger.


Fighting area is not quite appealing to my tastes. If there are people out there who like it, good for them :p
At least you looped the thingy, so it's not graphics-bugging when running.


Would be cool if you could implement parallax scrolling. The image looks nicely separable; you'll just have to fill in the holes that appear when cutting out the foreground.


Transition from trees to ground looks too sharp. Adding some texture does help in that matter.
