Test Rating System & Gallery - MH-Razen - 04-23-2008

We now test the Rating System for download on the mainsite again.
Actually this was one of the two modules which created errors like hell while running the mainsite on the old server. Now on this one we already have it since an hour or so, I myself voted a lot and no new error was reported.

Would still please you in case you get an error message report it here.

Edit: Same for the Gallery: Fanart Section is finally up again and looks like the gallery we once used works perfectly on the new server. Please report errors.

Thanks
MH

Hmmm, this is probably related to my sometimes veeeeery slow internet connection, but for me it takes a little while until my vote is registered.

So far, I haven't seen any errors yet. But... what's that 24-hour-voting-block-thing? I mean... it's not really helpful if there is one guy who goes on every day just to improve the rating of some really crappy stuff or the other way round (this would be the extreme case)...

next: sort downloads by rating?

YinYin Wrote:next: sort downloads by rating?

Hm, good idea, I'll keep it in mind - but in case it's possible (not sure in the moment since this is an ad-on script) user should have chance to switch between the sort-methods...

RE: Test Rating System & Gallery - YinYin - 04-24-2008

well they already do - it should just be another option

Sry BP I didn't see your post the first time I came here: I changed the text to "you already voted" and think the time-limit to one year, but actually I'm not sure :p

RE: Test Rating System & Gallery - Silverthorn - 04-24-2008

Yeah just a time limit that makes people think it's not worth to influence the voting stuff too badly...
1 year is fine for me :)
