The special moves are designed to work/combo well together - the character just isn't finished yet.
Just get home and try it before making such a vague claim.
Then you can also give precise feedback and suggestions on where some more combos could be possible.
(I admit DH had problems with just this when developing Earth - I think this is a huge improvement though)

i agree about the whirlwind effect though, seems more reasonable to me.
maybe he could have move which involve weapons (ie dragging them around to damage enemies with it, throwing them like a boomerang)?

I dunno about the others but I like it. Also it's great that you gave every part of his clothes a role so we know why he wears it.
There are a lot of combos available with this guy. Let's say:
You shoot two blue balls that push the enemy and shoot one red that pulls him. In that time you start running towards the enemy and start a run attack. That would lower his health bar.
