Some Basic Stuff That Are Easily Fixed

1) My attack is invisible!
my reply:
Check the pic number of the frame of the attack. does it exist?
check the next: ???, the frame specified may be wrong for either the opoint frame or the attack. also, remember the col: and row: are swapped. if all the above are not your problem, maybe the sprites are wrong. the LF2 engine creates 1px lines in between each sprite.

2) I disappear, and cannot be hit until i move!
my reply:
the next: ??? is wrong, or you forgot the <blah_end> tags

3) Something doesn't happen as i want it to!(not specific)
my reply:
a) (crashes) check if everything in the data file is ok, or if there are odd symbols at the end. some Data Changers do this.

b) my attack doesn't work, although i have put the tags!
my reply:
is this link

c) just search for it. then post.

Side note: this is to reduce the number of useless threads by a tiny amount. lets see... number of useless threads concerning these: 10%? people who have read this and are newcomers: 1%?
all in all, reduced by very little. i bet this won't even be stickied :(

dedicated to people who make chars.

if you want to post your char, make sure you ask your friends to try it first, or try it yourself. if you derive no pleasure from it, redo it.
very very nice.. excactly what this forum needed. Looks like we need a tut for every "simple" thing in our common sense. ;)
