Totally agree with this. I don't know about you guys, but I never really liked spriting certain things, it feels way too limited and in a bad way.

I viewed some old topics with spriting contests and you can clearly see that sprite themes there allow you too create your own composition, to design your own character.
In this one you are just copying existing ones.

If we're into bleach, why no to use "Shinigami" as a theme? Which almost means "Death" or "Reaper"??

Whoa, guys, I'm too high on heroin to care, but here goes.
1. The theme is completely random, i.e. an accidental selective pick.
2. The size of the sprite can be determined by the size of the character.
3. If you didn't watch the anime, Google something like BLEACH BANKAI, or Bleach in casual clothing, to help you out and inspire.
4. Voting system will be by posts and 5;3;1 point give-aways, as mentioned.
5. Nice two entries so far.
6. The theme, as silly as all anime, stays.
7. You can suggest further themes.
That said, I'm eagerly waiting for other entries. Do your best and excuse me for limiting your creativity, emperors.
