-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                1. INSTALLATION
The "installation" of this character is pretty easy:
Copy the "*.dat"-files into the "data"-Folder in your "Little Fighter 2"- Folder.
Then copy following lines into the "data.txt" (a file in the "Data"-Folder):

id: 86 type: 0 file: data\nohan.dat
id: 53 type: 0 file: data\nohan_shad.dat
id: 54 type: 0 file: data\nohan_mera.dat
id: 55 type: 0 file: data\nohan_pure.dat
id: 249 type: 3 file: data\nohan_shadow.dat
id: 250 type: 3 file: data\nohan_shadow2.dat
id: 251 type: 3 file: data\nohan_shadow3.dat

You can theoretically paste them anywhere, but to minimize chaos you should put them directly below other characters,
like this:

...
id: 86 type: 0 file: data\nohan.dat
id: 53 type: 0 file: data\nohan_shad.dat
id: 54 type: 0 file: data\nohan_mera.dat
id: 55 type: 0 file: data\nohan_pure.dat
id: 249 type: 3 file: data\nohan_shadow.dat
id: 250 type: 3 file: data\nohan_shadow2.dat
id: 251 type: 3 file: data\nohan_shadow3.dat

id: 100 type: 1 file: data\weapon0.dat #stick
...

At least copy all files of the folder "new sprites" into your "Little Fighter / sprite / sys" folder.

Finished!
More you won't have to do.

If you want later to disable the character, simply remove the id-lines you have pasted into the data.txt before.

IF YOUR GAME CRASHES AFTER YOUR ENTER THE CHARACTER CHOOSE MENU
you have to much modded files in your data.txt .
LF2 supports only a limited amount of entrys, if you are combining this and other mods it can be to much for the poor engine.
I recommed to make a backup of the momentary data.txt and exchange it with a "fresh" version, upgraded with this character.
Later you can simply switch both data's around, however you want ^^

                                 !!! IMPORTANT !!!
This character uses massive ammounts of special-bdy's, itr/kind:8's and opointing frames (you don't have to understand that).
If you try to use 2 "Nohan"s same time major errors and bugs can occur.
Additional you shouldn't combine this and other same-complex chars/mods, this can cause trouble, too...

DON'T TAKE OTHER ID-NUMBERS THEN THAT ONES LISTED ABOVE!
Otherwise most moves won't work, due they need the special ID's 86, 53, 54 and 55.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

                            2. GENERAL INFORMATION

This is a simple "one-char"-Modification.

The char's sprites are mainly recoulered one's of "Bat", but in many brigtness grades. Additional there are some (mainly
DARK/black) new sprites.
For the case you have a REALLY crappy graphic card, some of the sprites can cause a loading error if you start LF2.
If that really happens (i guess it won't), pls upgrade your computer XD

Nohan's moves aren't THAT much special or advanced or compley or whatever.
But still the data-files are difficult to understand, mainly the henchmen-ones. They use multiple itr/kind:8's and
special-bdy's in every frame to stay in connection to the mainchar.
So don't wonder if you don't get the meaning of the most data-tags, they are confusing me, too (sometimes) ;)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

                            3. The new character - NOHAN
3.1 THE MAIN-CHARACTER
If you are going to test Nohan in a 1on1 Versus against a motionless opponent, you will think Nohan is evil strong.
If you try him against some COM's or even a human player, you will think he is pretty weak.
Fact is, Nohan is a difficult char ^^ He's neither strong in melee combat, nor on far distance.
His speciality is support: Summoning allies and launching evil shadow attacks from behind, guarded by the cover of
his henchmen.
In dangerous situations, Nohan can also split his body into one dark and one light part, able to walk invulnerable into the
enemies and launching devasting attacks there...

But as i said: Without cover Nohan is weak, WITH a good team... he's pwnsome!

[D=Defend, A=Attack, J=Jump, ^/>/v=Movement into that direction]

Moves:
ROWING + A Dashing Punch (0 mp)
Kinda like his running-attack, but due to the fact you were rowing, you will be able to approach the enemy without
getting hit.

ROWING + J Shadow Strike (50 mp)
A sudden teleport into the back of the enemy and a quick punch from behind. Perfectly if you get chased ^^

DEFEND + J Backcall (50 mp)
With a mental command, Nohan will call his shadow allies (or at least all in a wide area around him)
to his position within one second.
But be careful, they will be confused for a short moment when they arrive.

DEFEND + A Dismiss (50 mp)
His lower henchmen, the Shadows, are not more then a small amount of life, bound in a shadow.
Nohan can call them back and use theire energy to heal himself without any problems.
(Nohan will only dismiss all Shadow's CLOSE to him... Keep that in mind.)

D + > + A Shadow Grap (25-100 mp, depends on distance)
A simple move: Nohan will grap for enemies with his one shadow...

D + ^ + A Focus Blast (250mp + 35mp/charge)
Instead only summoning Shadow, Nohan will concentrate the energy into one huge shadow, which will chase the enemy,
explode devastingly and releasing the Shadow's it is charges with.
(Press A continously to charge the move. Each charge will consume mp, but also will spawn a Shadow after detonation.)

D + v + A Shadow Drop (100mp + 100mp + ...)
This is one of Nohan's basic attack moves and you will see him and his henchmen using this technique often:
A summoned Shadow, pulling the enemy down into darkness. After being hurt by cruel, bodyless pain the enemy will reappear
somewhere... for example in the air, where a long fall exspects him...
(Pressing A repeatingly will spawn more Drop-shadows. The longer the move is done, the more Drop-shadows will appear.)
          + D + J + A Shadow Deamon (100 mp + 2 mp/frame)
Instead spawning a simple Drop-shadow, Nohan will create a small "life form". It will chase all enemies
around, creating Drop-Holes everywhere and lasting for infinite.
Or at least as "infinite" as Nohan remains motionless, controlling it...

D + > + J Shadow's Fist (50 mp + 50mp + ...)
(This move will be automatically performed against pain-dancing opponents, it will only use 25 mp in that case.)
Why Nohan should attack and touch the enemys himself? A quickly summoned Shadow can do that for him, surely...
(Pressing J repeatingly will result in performing this move multiple times in a row.)
(While holding a catched opponent, this move can be performed by pressing J, simply.)

D + ^ + J Mera-Shadow (100 hp, 400 mp)
Splitting his own shadow and charging it with some life energy, Nohan can create powerful Mera-Shadows,
way more powerful versions of the usual Shadow's.

D + v + J Nachtmahr (250 mp)
This special move will release a giant ammount of Shadow's at the same time... But it has a disadvantage:
After a short time of massive nightmares for the enemys, all Shadows on the field will disappear again...
(Pressing A at the end of this move will perform it a quick second time. Don't forget, that the Shadow's time is limited!)

D + J + A Pure Shadow (50 hp, 250 mp)
This powerful technique will split Nohan's body into 2 parts: One bright, vulnerable, empty hull and one
dangerous, shadowly and undestroyable version of himself.
The advantages are clear: In his Pure Shadow form, Nohan can move around without the danger to get hurt by anything.
Additional he can use way more powerful moves while in that stance.
But there are also some major disadvantages:
A major point is, that Nohan can't control Shadow's while in this form. So don't use it, after you summoned a massive amount
of allies (duh)...
The split is limited! If you don't retransform after a uncertain amount of time, the connection between both bodys
will collapse, causing a massive explosion (which will deal high damage to you) and ending his special form.
Additional, while the shadow part of him is invincible, the bright part of Nohan is very vulnerable to attacks.
If the body gets hit, even only one single time, the connection will collapse same way as in a "Time-Out".

So be careful while using this move... It can be very useful, but also very suicidal.

3.2 PURE SHADOW
As written above, Nohan is more powerful in his Pure Shadow form, then in his normal body.
More devasting moves, invulnerability and a automatic mp regain, what do you want more?
But don't forget: The time of this form is limited. Also, you have to guard your true body.
AND you cannot hurt enemies directly: Shadows cannot deal real damage, only mental. The enemies will still react like if
you would hurt them, but you won't... So better use moves instead trying to punch them ^^

Moves:
JUMP TELEPORT (J)
Shadows CANNOT leave ground...
So don't try to jump. If you do, Nohan will immeadeantly teleport himself back to ground, next to an enemy, if possible...

MP REGAIN (D)
Of course Nohan doesn't need to defend himself in his Pure Shadow form.
Instead concentrating on blocking incoming attacks, he can simply concentrate on regaining more energy.
VERY useful, due to the limited time of his Pure Shadow form...

ROWING + A Dashing Punch (0 mp)
Kinda like his running-attack, but due to the fact you were rowing, you will be able to approach the enemy without
getting hit.
Still this attack won't deal real damage...

ROWING + J Turbo Rowing (10 mp)
Without any body or air resistance, Nohan can easyly reach VERY high speeds...

"DEFEND" + J Re-Connection (0 mp)
Without any effort, Nohan can instantly teleport back to his true body, either for refusing with it or to defend it.

D + > + A Shadow Dive (25 mp + 2mp/frame)
Melting with the other shadows, Nohan can travel around quickly.
He can move around, create Drop-shadows or punch the enemies with a suprising uppercut.
(D will end the move, A will create a Drop-Shadow (50 mp), J will make Nohan launching an uppercut.)

D + ^ + A Disappearing Ambush (75 mp)
A second version of Shadow Dive: Nohan will melt to the shadows, reappear directly behind an enemy and trap him with a
Drop-shadow.

D + v + A Black Trap (75 mp)
Instead only summoning an instantly-acting Drop-shadow, Nohan can also plant it as a "trap".
It is capable of waiting a long time before an enemy comes in range and can be used (f.E.) to protect Nohan's true body.

D + > + J Chaos Pentagram (5 hp, 200 mp + 3/4 mp/frame)
Normally Nohan isn't able to control Shadow's in his Pure Shadow form.
But if he only concentrates on the control, it is possible to summon a high amount of powerful Mera-Shadows for a short
period of time.
He needs to stay motionless as long, as the Mera-Shadows should exist, but don't forget, that his true body can't stay in
connection forever...

D + v + J Damned Grounds (300 mp)
Charging the earth below him with shadow energy, Nohan can make the earth itself beginning to spawn Drop-Shadows directly
beyond the enemys feet.
This effect doesn't last TOO long, but can still screw up groups of enemies.

D + ^ + J Black Out (500 mp)
The most powerful ability of Nohan:
He needs time to collect the energy, ned for this attack and the move itself takes some time, too, so it's difficult to use
it and in most cases you will have to fuse back with your true body, before you can do more.
But with this move, Nohan can create a sudden "Black Out": A lack of all light, covering the entire battlefield in deepest
darkness, summoning evil, daylight-hating demons. While only the fact of loosing the ability to see something will panic most
enemies, the sudden attacks from all sides are surely even more cruel...
Everyone will be glad to have survived that dark whatever, wounded or not.

D + J + A FUSE (0 mp)
It's better to fuse back with your body intentional, then getting forced by a loss of connection.
This way is much easier and surely less painful...

3.3 HENCHMEN OF DARKNESS

3.3.1 SHADOW
Shadow's are weak!
Only a small amount of energy and a piece of shadow are needed to createa Shadow and only one single hit is ned to kill them.
Additional they need the control of a "master". As soon, as Nohan gets hit, all his Shadow's will instantly disapper...
But usual, Shadow's appear in masses and are therefore strong as a big mob of evil little flys.

Moves:
Nothing real.
Their punches are VERY weak (if they are alone), the onliest "real" way to deal damage is theire ability to transform
themselves into Drop-shadows...
Maybe only a weak Kamikaze, but a it can be deadly if the enemy gets attacked by multiple Shadow's...

3.3.2 MERA-SHADOW
Whereas normal Shadow's are weak, fragile and only useful in masses or as distraction, Mera-Shadows are powerful allies.
Surely, they are still "only" shadows, but at least they will be able to take way more damage then a Shadow. Additional
they won't be affected, if Nohan get's hurt. Only if he falls and gets even knocked out, the Mera-Shadow's will take
serious damage, though even that won't kill them instantly.

Moves:
Weak punches (not as weak as Shadow's, but also not as strong as Nohan's).
Also, Mera-Shadow's love to dash quickly through the enemies to attack them from behind.
To evade incoming attacks they can melt into the ground shadows, same like Nohan to reappear behind enemies.
And they can summon Drop-shadows, if they are able to grap an enemy...

                    4. DISCLAIMER AND ORHER JURISTIC NONSENSE
I take no responsebility for any damages or data failures on your computer during you use my characters.
Hey, you REALLY can't blame me, that files can't do anything to you ^^

If you want to use my characters as basics for own ones: fine
If you want to modify and public them: fine, too, but please give some credits to me, whereever you show them.
If you want to public them with your own name, not giving me any respect: no further comment, you can guess, what would
follow, if anybody would notice it...

I would be glad if someone would offer me to draw (or alter) the sprites for the characters, i suck at drawing... really...
Ok, maybe not entirely, at least I made it to recolour Rudolphus for Onimarus sprites XD or something like that...
