Actually i encounter often situations where i would just love to Quote a post and type "LOL"... but since this would be considered as spam i either need to not answer OR post something topic-related and then adding the lol...
May something like a "LOL"-button would solve that problem
edit: See? Just like Divisor just proved: We need LOL-buttons ^^
^ I think we're getting a lot of requests for new buttons lately

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerm... I should actually disposal it... - Simoneon
Uh-huh...then I will make this post longer by adding random words like the ones I have written before I wrote these.
But really, it's not a bad idea (like agree-button wasn't a bad idea too).
but... isn't that sounds some kinda... useless?

^:Well mods and vips can say lol in someones post unlike normal user members.
I think you can use 'thank' button on that purpose. Really, you laugh, and as an award of your great time you give the guy a thank.
Why 'lol' button?
Well... At the moment the thank button is abused for that purpose, so there are obviously quite a few people who would use a lol button. But on the other hand, if we had a lol-button, than an agree-button would have a right to exist, too. As well as some others.
So yeah, I'm against it. People should either think of something useful to post, or lol on their own. Seriously, is it that important to tell people that they said something funny? The main point is that you found it funny for your own, isn't it? And if it's extraordinarily funny you can still post in in the "quotes" thread.

i say "no for lol button" cuz if you make thi one members will start giving requests and suggestions about other buttons such as "agree button".
so just leave the situation as it is...
but... its just unnecessary, isn't it? and... it may give more burden to the site, or is it not? ah whatever, what about a poll?
